Abstract:Turbidite reservoirs in Dongying Depression are characterized by deeply buried small bodies and thin limestone. To solve the problem, we propose an approach for high-quality reservoir prediction on seismic data. The approach includes three parts: 1Frequency broadening with wavelet decomposition for resolution and fidelity improvement; 2Turbidite zone macro prediction with high accuracy palaeo- geomorphology resume, seismic attributes and impedance inversion; 3Sandstone identification from mudstone and limestone with multi-parameter lithology inversion, high light body attribute, sweetness body attribute, and prestack attributes. Rather good results are obtained by the proposed approach in Bindong and Liangjialou areas, Dongying Depression.
