Abstract:Cross-hole seismology is a new geophysical prospecting method that the source and geophone are put into down-hole to observe seismic wave.Shengli oilfield and Tomoseis company work together and conduct cross-hole seismic test successfully in Luojia area.Having original data in high quality,processing on travel-time inversion for first arrival and on reflection imaging has been done. The final achievements are tomographic profile of cross-hole velocity and reflection imaging profile with higher resolution. The highest apparent frequency can be 500Hz and resolvable minimum thickness of layer is 3-5m.Through integrative interpretation of resulted profile,we can clearly realize complex and subtle geologic phenomena such as lateral distribution and continuity of reservoir ,zone of igneous alteration,small fault,thin and interbedded sand-shale.Efficiency of cross-hole seismic data is not only serving for development of field directly but also calibrating 3-D seismic data in exploration area.
