Abstract:In Songliao basin, the volcanite reservoir has become important reservoir type in deep natural gas exploration. But the volcanite is complex and variable, this makes the lithologic identification very difficult and brings very large risk in exploration and development of volcanite reservoir. Through analysis of studied results of volcanite reservoir in Xincheng area, northern part of Songliao basin, by using seismic-geologic interpretation mode of volcanite facies formed by characteristic seismic response and combining with relative drilling, logging and regional geologic data, the papers divided the volcanite facies into three subfacies: eruptive facies, overflow facies and volcanic depositional facies, and used continuation visualization technique to finely geomorphic description of volcanic crater. This identification approach can provide reliable data for exploration and development of vulcanite oil-gas reservoir in the region.
