Abstract:In Mahu Area,Junggar Basin,the existence of multiples in seismic data brings great difficulties to structure interpretation and fault identification.In order to suppress effectively multiples in Mahu A-rea,we propose a strategy of stepped-combination multiples suppression based on processing tools provided by GeoEast System such as the domain prediction deconvolution,high-precision Radon transform multiples suppression,inverse scattering interbed multiple prediction,and multiples multi-channel adaptive subtraction.These approaches are used in a stepped-combination to integrate their advantages and gradually suppress multiples.The data processing results show that the proposed stra-tegy can effectively suppress interbed multiples generated by strong reflection interfaces in Cretaceous,Jurassic,and Triassic strata.
