Abstract:Mufti-fractal spectrum f(a) of fault system in different parts of T2 reflection horizon in the region has been made by introducing present mufti-fractal theory after analysing generation mechanism of fractured mud reservoir in Qijia-Gulong region of North Songliao basin. An overall analysis of mufti-fractal spectrum behaviour of fault system in each part says that high value zones of mufti-fractal spectrum f(a) and a have obvious correlation with fractured mud reservoir. This correlation shows that fault-associated fracture forms a major type of mud fractures in this region and that mufti-fractal spectrum behaviour of fault system is an important parameter which quantitatively describes hydrocarbon accumulation and migration in fractured mud reservoir. Authors predict favourable fractured mud reservoir by using this principle.
