Overlapping technique of single-point digital geophone

Abstract:The field seismic geophone array is common-used and important method for improvement of S/N ratio of raw data, but damages significant events while suppresses interference waves. The field acquisition pattern of single-point digital geophone characterized by short group interval, high folds and array-free is gradually applied, but may bring increasing of data volume and lowering of S/N ratio, so the indoor seismic overlapping processing is necessary. On the basis of theoretical analysis and in combination with the data of single-point digital geophone receiving and 5m group interval in YX work zone of Shengli Oilfield, the paper carried out indoor overlapping analysis, probed indoor seismic overlapping method, flow and the issues that should need pay attention for and showed indoor overlapping effects.
