Abstract:In view of data processing in complex surface area,simple analysis has been made on various static correction methods in this paper;and a feasible processing flow is given,which involves the static correction techniques:field primary static correction, first-break residual statics and automatic residual statics. The paper gives an introduction to first-arrival pickup method,i. e.,constrained first-arrival pickup which is specially applicable to data in complex area. To reduce the effect of field static correction on both velocity analysis and horizontal stacking,the author demonstrates theoretically that CMP reference plane must be recalculated for the reasonable use of first-break residual static corrections. Practical data processing shows that the static correction processing flow given in this paper is feasible.
