Abstract:Decomposition of seismic signals in time domain can be achieved by sequentially separating out the seismic components that show different resolutions.The essential of this method is that singularity detection is used to separate out the seismic component whose signal/noise ratio is low,but to retain the seismic component whose signal/noise ratio is high,thus improving the signal/noise ratio of seismic data.In separating out surface waves of common-shot seismic data,this method brings better result than ordinary high pass filtering.Hence it can be one of high-resolution processing techniques.
