Abstract:A new method for performing DMO and stack processings in time-slowness domain is derived by starting with CT integral transformation. This method produces DMO corrected gather in the steps: (1) CT integral transformation of NMO corrected common-offset section, and (2) DMO correction in time-slowness domain, and (3) inverse transformation. The final stacked section can be obtained by performing the stack of DMO corrected seismic data in time-slowness domain, then the inverse transformation. The stacking in time-slowness domain can effectively remove random noise, and trace interpolation can be achieved during the period when the inverse transformation being done. This method needs much less calculation than those in f-k domain. Both model trial and real data processing bring gcod results, which proves this method practical and effective.
