Abstract:A new data processing method is recommended which improves both resolution and S/N ratio,This method,not influenced by time window,uses a single program to achieve(1)automatic detection of effective signals in time-space domain and (2) improving resolution of detected Nigh S/N seismic signals by making spectral shift expansion which is with reference to the big peak and big rough positions.After processing with the use of this method,S/N ratio is √n times as high as the original one (n is the number of directional stacked traces),and the resalution is 0.85(k-1)times as high as the original one (k is a resolutian control coefficient),This method affords good results in processing theoretical data and real seismic data from different areas.Particularly,this method is suitable to processing of low S/N seismic data from the area where thin reservoirs occur.
