Abstract:In the case of approximate acoustic medium, the generalized least square criterion can be used to solve the nonlinear inversion of seismic reflection information# then a set of mathematical models can be estabilished which -determine correction values of medium models in terms of the residual differences between the real seismic data and the synthetic data corresponding to the medium models, The used seismic data are prestack data; therefore, this method considers the energies of direct wave, refraction wave and multiple wave, If we start with elastic wave equation, surface wave energy can be considered as well,The key to this method lies.in the development of-forward model.In order to choose a forward modeling method which not only takes less computer ti.m}e but also brings high accuracy, we apply 6th-order finite difference method to forward modeling, Theoretical modeling proved this method feasible.To simplify the problem, we only deal with the case of single varied parameter (velocity).
