Abstract:Dip-moveout correction is essentially a migration technique, Just as with the conventional migration technique, it can be accomplished by various methods, The expanded z-p transform is developed on the basis of z-p transform theory, "exploding reflector" hypothesis and a function properties, The expanded z-p transform is accomplished by stacking signals along a curve instead of a dipping straight line, The advantage is that the iso-offset section can be arbitrarily divided into some parts and expanded z-p transform can be done individually in each part, The experiments on several kinds of theoretical model came to the conclusion: after dip-independent NMO correction followed by dip-dependent DMO correction of seismic records, reliable zero-offset traces can be obtained to accomplish coherent stacking, so that the stack effect is imprG}ed and quality requirements of migration are met surely.
