Abstract:For the generalized inverse matrix inversion of magnetotelluric sounding data of 2D geoelectric structure which includes vertical interfaces, the way that Jacobi's partial derivative matrix is got by analytics can eliminate the demerits, such as dow accuracy, less inversion parameters, longer computation time etc。,which result from the means of obtaining Jacobi's partial derivative matrix by difference quotient method。Rodi's model and parameters were used to check the inverse method in this paper, and the program was proved reasonable. The generalized inverse matrix inversion of 2D magnetotelluric soun-ding data Was cheeked using theoretical model data,and it was proved feasible.The interpretations of Ex and Hx polorization data of a trial magnatoielluric sounding profile in North China were made using the program of 2D MTgeneralized inverse matrix analytic inversion,and combined inversionwas done. Good results were achieved.
