Abstract:On the regional Bouguer gravity anomalous map of Zhungaer Basin,the value of anomaly increases negatively from basin to mountains, which is up to一260 mgal in Tianshan mountain area, According to the sedimentary thickness calculated from Bouguer gravity anomalous value,the sedimentary thickness of Tianshan mountain area should be much thicker than that in the center of the basin, which is obviously not true,There is also false positive anomaly in the basin, the reason for that is mainly due to `intermediate layer correction of the Bouguer anomalies.So,instead of intermediate layer correction,we should adopt free air gravity anomaly and topographic trend surface corrections,which result in topographic trend surface free air gravity anomaly, Seismic results confirm that this gravity anomaly map is more close to the true geological structure of the subsurface.
