Abstract:The high resolution seismic prospecting system for marine shallowformations, designed by us, consists of seismic source, isofloating cable receiving subsystem, recording unit and data processing set, A sparksource generates wavelets which have a wider frequency spectrum, soit can be used as a rather ideal high resolution seismic source, Theisofioating cable should be designed into a short spread of which thegroup interval and offset are shorter, The recording unit should be madeto ensure a high sampling rate, In data processing, the minimum phasesof wavelets generated by the spark source must be made first, then de-convolution correctly used, Seismic data beyond 1.2 seconds can beacquired by this seismic system.
