Abstract:Seismic wave sensor is always one of the most important elements in oil and gas exploration. The newly developed digital grating sensor with high resolution and large dynamic range shows its great prospects in the near future. In view of problems that influence seismic wave detection resolution and dynamic range, we discuss in this paper some questions of seismic wave detection by digital grating sensor, and propose a new approach for non-distortion sampling of digital grating signals and synchronous separation of digital grating errors from seismic wave sampled data. Both simulation and experimental tests verify the validity of the proposed approach. The detected harmonic distortion of seismic wave caused by digital grating errors can be neglected.
