Abstract:In a condition of lack of vertical seismic resolution, people can use the lateral difference of seismic reflection amplitude on the thin layers to study the lateral geometric configuration and sedimentary feature of each sedimentary micro-facies geologic body based on the principle of seismic reflection amplitude on the thin layer.Mainly using high-resolution seismic along-horizon slices and seismic along-horizon spectrum imaging technique, and combining with spatial distribution feature of channels, the paper developed geologic interpretation and study of deposition of channel sand body, inferred the direction of sedimentary derivation and development zone of sand body, and pointed out the interesting zone of reservoir, in which the seismic along-horizon spectrum imaging technique is to detect tuning thickness of associated layers through the frequencies determined by the max energy of spectrum imaging instead of directly using the dominant frequencies of seismic data to compute the thickness of layer.
