Abstract:With respect to the complicated fault distribution characteristics for A oilfield, the tuning cube and common frequency data interpretation technique in spectrum decomposition technology was discussed in detail in this paper based on high resolution seismic data and by utilization of spectrum decomposition technology. The field applications show that the tuning cube acquired by using the spectrum decomposition technology could be used to analyze the fault plane characteristics of the target layer, the acquired common frequency data could be used to study the profile combination characteristics of the fault, the joint application of tuning cube and common frequency data could raise the ability of seismic data in identifying the small faults.
