Abstract:The main pay zone for the west Sulige gas field,Ordos Basin is in He-8 formation of Shihezi group in the Permian,it is a lithologic reservoir with typical characteristics of thin sand-shale interbed,large horizontal change and severe heterogeneity.The impedance of the gas-bearing sandstone and the impedance of the shale almost overlapped with each other,so the reservoir can be hardly resolved from the impedance results.In this paper the research method of the pre-stack simultaneous inversion technique,the feasibility study,the application of the key inversion technique and the QC measurements are introduced in detail.The successful application of field data in west Sulige area validated the effectiveness of the inversion technique for reservoir prediction in this area.
