Abstract:Prestack inversion based fluid factor extraction is now one of the hottest spots of reservoir geophysics research. However, there are two problems with fluid factor extraction: A. The variety of fluid factor increases the complexity and blindness of the fluid factor extraction; B. Fluid factor is often obtained by indirect way which can create more uncertainty, and accumulative errors caused by the indirect calculation. An approach to sensitive fluid factor quantitative analysis and direct extraction is set up in this paper according to these two problems. Firstly, the concept of fluid factor sensitive coefficient (FFSC) is proposed in order to quantitatively calculate fluid factor ability to distinguish different fluids. Secondly, the objective function is built combining fluid factor approximate equation and prestack inversion after acquiring sensitive fluid factors. Finally, sensitive fluid factors are acquired directly by solving this objective function. Application results show that fluid factor quantitative analysis process is reasonable and the extraction results are objective and accurate. So the proposed approach is beneficial for further popularization and application.
