Seismic acquisition technology in Pakistan complicated surface area

Abstract:Due to the difficulties of complicated surface conditions, complex underground structures and larger influence of security and environment factors in Pakistan seismic exploration, and in combination with experiments of seismic jobs that BGP carried out in similar areas, the BGP Pakistan Department of Management summarized a set of complete seismic acquisition technology appropriate to local characters in practice, including satellite photo application technique, hybrid source shooting technique, multiple geophones receiving technique, acquisition design technique, wide-line acquisition technique, static corrections technique and in-site QC technique, achieving good seismic acquisition effect, which provided a reference to seismic acquisition in similar area.
