Abstract:Some factors in field seismic data acquisition such as topography and obstacles cause often missing traces, which will greatly affect the subsequent processing and interpretation. To solve this kind of issues,we propose in this paper an anti-aliasing project onto convex sets (POCS) regularization method. This method utilizes the low-frequency component in the f-k domain to predict un-aliasing high-frequency component so that it can eliminate aliasing and restore missing seismic traces. Our experiment on Marmousi model shows that the proposed anti-aliasing POCS method can significantly improve migration imaging quality.
