Prestack depth migration for Qigu complex structure imaging

Abstract:Due to limits of seismic and geological conditions,the seismic imaging accuracy is rather low,and there is large depth difference of faults between logging and seismic data,which seriously affects trap identification and hydrocarbon discovery in Qigu fault-fold belt.Processing approaches provided by GeoEast System improve the imaging quality of Qigu seismic data and imaging accuracy of complex structures in low SNR areas such as combined stack fidelity denoising,grid tomography velocity inversion,TTI anisotropy correction,and Q migration for viscous medium,which lays a solid foundation for the subsequent reservoir characte-rization in the southern margin of Junggar Basin.
