Abstract:Amplitude of seismic wave at short offsets varies with incident angle while its phase remains unchanged.However,when it comes to wide-angle,both amplitude and phase will be changed.This paper presents our study on amplitude and phase of wide-angle reflections.First,we study the characteristics of amplitude versus angle (AVA) and phase versus angle (PVA) of flat layers in the t-x and τ-p domain on synthetic seismogram,and expect that their results could be applied to amplitude/phase inversion.However,τ-p transform is also affected by sampling interval.So we develop a new method to get the wide-angle reflection with angle domain commom image gathers (ADCIG) obtained by reverse time migration (RTM).And we apply it to the elastic parameters inversion.At last,tests on a flat layer model and Marmousi-2 model explain AVA and PVA combination steps,and the inversion results verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
