Abstract:Near-surface structures of the loess tableland in South Ordos Basin are very complex. Low-velo-city zones change dramatically in the area, so static corrections are one of the main difficulties all the time. Without near-surface velocity constraint, tomographic static corrections can better control structure forms and solve the long wavelength problem than refraction static corrections. But this approach cannot eliminate high frequency superposition at some line segments as refraction static corrections do. So we need to use multiple statics methods to completely solve statics problems in the loess tableland. Based on the tomographic static corrections and other statics modules of GeoEast System, we propose an approach of high-frequency component reconstruction and multiple statics fusion. 2D seismic data sets of the area processed by the proposed approach show significant imaging improvement.
