Abstract:Low frequency information plays a crucial role in improving the accuracy of fluid detection.Aiming at the difficulties of lithologic oil and gas re-servoir exploration in the Pre-Caspian Basin,this paper presents an idea of fluid detection with prestack azimuth centroid frequency.Based on broadband,wide-azimuth,and high-density (BWH) seismic data in the Pre-Caspian Basin,fluid detection with frequency-domain attributes on low-frequency seismic data.The principles of the centroid frequency and its related attributes are first introduced.Then with the regularization of rectangular offset,the prestack azimuth-offset domain data are regularized.Finally,according to different azimuth frequency information (especially the low-frequency information),the prestack azimuth centroid frequency attributes are extracted and analysis.It is found that with the minimum azimuth centroid frequency realizes the best fluid detection in the study area.The proposed fluid detection can eliminate impacts of non-reservoir fluid factors such as overlying abnormal geologic bodies on the frequency spectrum,and can also reduce the influence of the interpreter cognitions.
