Abstract:One-way wave equation in time-space domain in inhomogeneous medium一℃an be deduced by introducing a generalized difference delay operator.By applying the relationship between Z-transform and Fourier transform,this one一way wave equation can be used to obtain 90.one-way wave equation put forward by Gazdag in frequency-wavenumber domain.Stolts 45“one一way wave equation,which is used in modeling and migration,can also be derived by first applying the difference expression,obtained from the operational character of the generalized difference delay operator,into the velocity-varying 2-D acoustic wave equation after Fourier transform,then approximating its aquare root with a proper expression.Replacing the central difference operator with finite first order difference operator (Crank一Nicolson),we can get 450 one一way wave equation in unconditionally stable difference scheme。The processing of synthetic seismic section shows that the migration in such difference scheme is more accurate and faster than with conventional algorithm.
