3D seismic data fine structural interpretation and reservoir prediction in Fang-3 Well Block,Fangzheng Rift

Abstract:Based on 3d seismic data and drilling data in Fang-3 Well Block in Fangzhen Rift,the T3、T5 horizons were interpreted in detail in this paper,it was found out that the NE and NW fracture systems were developed in this area,the two fracture systems cross with each other to form the fault-block trap in this area.By application of model-based impedance inversion method in this paper,the Paleogene bottom sandstone and coal-bearing shale above the sandstone were predicted laterally.The prediction results show that the maximum thickness of the Paleogene bottom sandstone is 38m,it distributed in 24 sqare kilometers,the coal-bearing shale distributes in the whole area,its maximum thickness is 120m,it is the main cap rock in this area,the reservoirs in this area probably belong to the lithology-plugging stratigraphic-lithologic reservoirs.
