Abstract:Conventional beam forming methods suffer from noise leakage and low resolution.So we introduce the CLEAN algorithm to realize the high-resolution beam forming.The algorithm utilizes the spatially directional spectrum as criteria to evaluate the solutions of the inverse problem.The clustering and locating algorithms are utilized to further improve the spatial resolution of the conventional CLEAN algorithm,and hence the proposed method is better applied on field data denoising.Tests on synthetic and field data prove that the proposed method can suppress leaking noise and enhance the resolution of beam forming.Compared with the conventional slant stacking and beam forming methods in a least-squares sense,the proposed method is significantly superior in theory and also valuable in practical application.
