Abstract:According to the characteristics of 3D seismic data in the Area B of a foothill belt in the Southern China,in the paper we use progressive velocity model building technique,combining migration velocity analysis with horizon-based statistics velocity analysis and residual velocity analysis from self-developed iCluster,a seismic imaging system,to improve the accuracy of the velocity model. This approach finally leads to an improvement of the prestack time migration image.
