Abstract:If refractor velocity on a CMP gather can approximately be considered as constant and top surface as smooth oblique plane,refraction travel-time and offset are satisfied with linear equation:slop of the line represents reciprocal of refractor velocity and intercept is time-depth at the CMP,and a refraction seismic interpretation method in CMP domain is presented on that basis.A model test shows that the method is simple,don't need constraint conditions and has advantages of fast computation,stable solution and better adaptability.Application of the method to determine near-surface model for an oil-gas exploration area in the west of China can better solve the problem of long wavelength static correction in the region.
