Abstract:Square-array noise wave investigation is widely used to test seismic noises inforeign countries in recent years. An improved square-array noise wave investigation is recommended here,which is characterized by no field array,high spatial sampling rate and obvious advantage in original wave field analysis. With the aid of 3-D data volume interpretation,movie skill,horizontal slice and radar scan,we may view different kinds of waves,and make interpretation of horizontal slices to know the directions,intensities,velocities and wavelengths of different waves;and the field data acquisition method may be thus demonstrated scientifically. According to the method,geophysicists can define different geophone array patterns,and stack their real seismic data to analyse quantitatively the array effects,thus guiding the field array design theoretically.Real application result in an area of Northeast China shows that the method is an effective means of designing the field data acquisition system.
