Abstract:The structural reservoir in piedmont thrust zone and structural-lithologic reservoir in oil-rich sag of southern margin of Jiuquan basin are two main exploration fields in the basin. The difficulties of exploration in piedmont thrust zone are complex geologic conditions, difficult to determine the interpretation plan and build up velocity field as well as difficult to accurately classify the feature of structural trap. The paper presented using seismic interpretation technical series of structural model buildup and interpretation technique, and variable velocity mapping technique;the difficulties in exploration of structural-lithologic reservoir are poorer quality of seismic data and strong non-homogeneity of reservoir as well as difficult to identify the traps, the paper presented the purposeful technical measures such as using 3-D seismic data fine structural interpretation technique, sag pond reservoir prediction and lithologic(stratigraphic) trap identified technique. It gained following knowledge by integrative evaluation of oil/gas exploration field in Jiuquan basin: ①the currently discovered oilfield and detected reserve lie mainly in piedmont thrust zone, showing that the piedmont thrust zone has still some exploration potential, and should continue to strengthen the tackling Key problems taking the seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation as an integral whole in piedmont thrust zone;②the structural-lithologic(stratigraphic) oil/gas exploration field in oil-rich sag of Jiuquan basin still has larger exploration potential, but the level of exploration and study is still low and it should further strengthen the efforts of exploration and study in the field;③Shida and Huahai sags have similar structural and sedimentary feature to Qingxi and Ying'er sags, the oil-generated capacity has been proved by exploration, and it should strengthen the study of structural and sedimentary feature for Shida and Huahai sags for purpose of integrative evaluating structural and lithologic traps and finding out breakthrough point.
