Studies on application of 3-D seismic converted wave processing technique in LMD area

Abstract:In this paper 3D3C (3 Dimensional and 3 Component) seismic data in LMD area is our study object,based on the data we systematically summarized imaging techniques for 3D seismic converted data,such as coordinate rotation,pre-stack noise elimination,static correction,pre-stack time migration and so on,the joint processing flowchart for P wave and PS wave (converted wave) were presented,the difference between Z-component R-component joint processing flowchart and R-component T-component joint processing flowchart was pointed out.By application of the technique to field data,it can be seen that the imaging precision for 3D seismic converted data was greatly improved,as a result the high quality basic datasets were provided for further 3D3C seismic data interpretation.
