Abstract:Deconvolution is a necessary means of improving seismic resolution in data processing,Conventional deconvolution does not work when seismic data don't satisfy the constraints of minimum phase anti white noise.People have many modern deeonvolution methods which avoid the constraints,One of them is least-square deconvolution of unknown mixed-phase pulse. An improved deconvolution method (an iterative meshod) is outlined, which combines the least-square deeonvolution of unknown? mixed-phase pulse with minimum-entropy type pulse shaping technique so as to improve the deconvolution of an unknown finitelength mixed-phase pulse,Both the principle and the algorithm of this method are described here.Synthetic data tests show that, comparea with least-square decorvolution of unknown mixed-phase,this method brings very short wavelet, which is close to a shock pulse.
