Abstract:By using seismic attributes for the prediction of reservoirs, the key is how to optimize seismic atrbutes adaptable to the feature in the region from multiple seismic attributes. Especially in development stage of oilfields, optimization of seismic attributes of reservoirs is more important. The paper presented an optimization of seismic attributes that takes geologic, logging and petrophysical data as a basis, uses mathematic model and forward simulation to optimize the attributes and then selects the combination of optimum attributes suitable for the geologic situation in that area by using alternative method remaining the best one. This set of methods fully utilized available data in the work area, gave a full play to respective superiority of geologic, logging and petrophysic methods, reduced multi-solution of optimized attributes and improved accuracy of prediction of reservoirs. The method is practical and easy to use with better maneuverability.
