Abstract:The characteristic filters for separating out anomalies having different widths and amplitudes are respectively derived from the relation between energy spectra and frequency spectra of corresponding autocorrelation functions. Besides, we offer 1-D and 2-D filter factors of isometric and non-isometric anomalies. According to different correlation radii and averaged amplitudes of the corresponding gravimetric and magnetic anomalies, we can detect and separate out useful anomaly. Theoreti-cal and practical results show that this method has the advantages of definite geo-logical meaning, convenient applicatlon and high accuracy.
