Abstract:At the middle and final stages of oilfield development, fine thin reservoir characterization is highly required, and this inevitable trend makes researchers use both well logging and seismic data and reduce the subjective intervention, and realize semi-quantitative or quantitative description. This paper takes geostatistical analysis and plane interpolation algorithm as a mathematical tool, respectively discusses the transformation relation between discrete sedimentary facies data and continuous sandstone ratio data at well points, the correlation between seismic attributes and well point sandstone ratio, and sensitive seismic attribute optimization. At the same time, a prediction model for sandstone ratio is established, and an appropriate planar interpolation is selected to map sandstone ratio contour based on the correlation coefficient of the model. Then, combined with single well facies and sedimentary background, the transformation model of sandstone ratio and sedimentary microfacies are used to obtain relatively reasonable geological result map for characterizing thin reservoir sedimentary microfacies. Practical applications and validations in a study area obtain good results, and a more feasible well seismic joint research ideas and technical flow for fine reservoir description are formed.
