Abstract:The associative dimension of seismic data has been applied to many fields such as hydrocarbon reservoir recognition. However,G-P method for estimating the assodative dimension needs a big sample volume to achieve enough accuracy. The periodic continuation of observed data can be done by making use of the periodic density of systematic attractors so as to increase samle volume and accuracy. It is shown that the method brings satisfactory associative dimension.
