Abstract:The current seismic exploration is faced with the challenge in how to accurately describe seismic wave field in complex subsurface media. The lattice gas automata model developed from the cellular automata and statistical physics has opened up a completely new realm for forward study of seismic data. Its generation,development,and latest application result and problem in seismic wave field simulation are described in detail in the paper.
